Flight cancellation

Each plane in Blockair offers 8 passenger seats and a booking period for all seats to fill.

If, within that booking window, the 8 available seats are not fully booked, the flight will be canceled to free up the remaining players of that plane.

Leave the plane

When a flight is canceled, all players of this flight will have to disembark and restart their journey as tourists. This means they will need to purchase a new ticket from the same location where the cancellation occurred.

Claim insurance

However, if a player had purchased their original ticket with insurance, they can claim a refund for the canceled flight before purchasing a new ticket. This insurance minimizes the risk from financial loss in case of cancellations, ensuring a smoother journey as they rebook their next flight.

Invites

To help prevent flight cancellations, players can invite new participants to join the specific flight they are on. This feature is available in both the Status and Passport section.

Players can generate a personalized invite link and easily share it via a social media dropdown menu. By clicking the ‘Invite Friends’ button, a list of social media platforms will appear, allowing players to send flight invitations with just a few clicks.

In addition, when players invite others to join Blockair through their personalized link, they benefit from the referral program. New players who mint a Passport NFT through the referral will receive a 50% discount, and the referring player earns a 10% commission on the Passport NFT purchase. This creates a win-win scenario for both parties and helps ensure that flights fill up faster to avoid cancellations.
